Cross River
State Political Network – CRISPON which is the foremost sociopolitical platform
online and offline in Cross River State with a membership of over 30, 000
online and 10, 000 offline (spread across the 18 L.G.A in CRS) is partnering
with the Office of the Special Adviser on Student Affairs and Youth
Mobilization, Cross River State to organize a city walk in Calabar tagged
“Ayade City Walk” /Calabar City Walk in order to mark the United Nation World
Science Day for Peace and Development in line with His Excellency, the Governor
of Cross River State scientific module utilized in ensuring a more prosperous
and peaceful Cross River State.
The Walk
which will start from Effio-Ette Roundabout with a pause at Governor’s office
for an address by the Governor and terminate at the Calabar Stadium,is slated
to hold on Friday, 10th of November2017.
AIMS AND
OBJECTS
The essence
of the City Walk is in line with the United Nation World Science Day for Peace
and Development commemoration are as follows:
- Sensitize
the populace in the southern senatorial districts and inhabitants of Calabar of
the Strides of His Excellency the Governor of Cross River State – Sen. Prof.
Ben Ayade led Administration (Distribution of Flyers etc) and call for support
or the development strides of Prof. Ayade.
- Sensitize
the public on environmental and security related issues by providing
information/contacts for quick response.

Conscientize the populace on the role of Government and the governed in termsof
their civic responsibilities while laying emphasis on the ongoing voter’s
registration exercise and advocacy/statement against social vices.

Endorsement of His Excellency. Sen. Prof. Ayade Benedict 2019 Governorship bid
by the over 10,000 youths present and statements of solidarity by
representatives across the state.
- Launch of
polling unit mobilizers across the state to entrench and depeen democratic
dividends and promote peace and developmental initiatives across the state.

Endorsement of His Excellency, Sen Prof Ben Ayade Benedict by stakeholders
- Promote
#Peace initiative, innovation and creativity, my office #BackToBookProject ,
and developmental initiative and citizens civic responsibilities.
